It's my sister's boyfriend's birthday at the weekend so I've offered to host a birthday lunch and plan to give him the whole birthday treatment - sparklers et al! I've been given the very important task of planning one of my best friend's hen-do in April. So, what are our options? Thought it might be fun to dream... 

OK option one is a visit to the Haybarn Spa at Daylesford Organic. I have to admit I've been dying to write about Daylesford Organic again! The spa at Daylesford has everything from yoga classes to a two hour relaxation treatment - just the thing to calm those pre-wedding stresses and strains! And after all those treatments what better to wrap yourself in than some Bamford cashmere?

It's Sunday evening so I thought I'd end the week on some more white sitting rooms - these shots are by Slettvoll - aren't they just divine? Sunday evening is being spent baking these lovely breakfast bars by Nigella Lawson, they're very moreish but healthy so you can't feel too bad! Managed to buy a nice white hyacinth at Columbia Road so can't wait until it comes into flower and scents my bedroom. cxx

My friend Mell is getting married in May and as chief bridesmaid I'm going to help out with deciding on the flowers - something I'll love doing! c xx

All I really wanted to do was stay at home and keep warm this afternoon but in the end was persuaded to meet a friend for a warming Mocha in Notting Hill. We went to Daylesford Organic which is just divine and white heaven! Lots and lots of eye candy for white fans. Now I just need to save up for a day at the Daylesford Organic hay barn spa , sigh! But will definitely continue going for Mochas while I fill my piggy bank! C xx

Saturday morning means American buttermilk pancakes to me - and Nigella Lawson has the ultimate recipe! Serve these lovely dollar pancakes with lots of maple syrup and, if it's more of a brunch, some nice back bacon. Then bottomless coffee, a radio on and the weekend paper of course! xx
