Just back from a perfect weekend in the Champagne region of France; think romantic chateau, driving the winding roads through famous vineyards with the roof down (headscarf and sunglasses required of course), picnics in the sun, creamy-coloured macaroons French flea markets and many perfect Champagne-shaded bubbles. It's officially the start of wedding season and I'm spending the long weekend celebrating with friends. Have settled on the most elegant Champagne-coloured cocktail dress so now I'm just waiting for the Spring rain to stop and the May sunlight to come!
